Spirit of Potton Festival

Spirit of Potton Festival: Friday and Saturday of the second weekend of August
It’s the big annual party in the Township of Potton ! The festival is keeping things local and will host artist kiosks, food vendors and talent. Friday night: movie screening, bingo, karaoke and dancing party. Saturday: traditional parade, crafts market, exhibitions, beer and wine tastings and children’s activities, including the famous soap box races. Special menus offered by restaurants, live music groups from 2:00 p.m. and a bar will be on site.

Cultural Days

For several years now, the Potton Cultural and Heritage Committee has been inviting people to participate in the Journées de la culture held last weekend in September. Many activities are on offer: exhibitions, concerts, outdoor activities, a movie for all, the Culture and Heritage Awards, etc.

Christmas Market ‘C’est chouette’

Discover the creative spirit of our artisans and shop locally for quality handmade items: handcrafted soaps, herbal products, pottery, jewellery, alpaca knits, artisanal weaving, bags and accessories, recycled fur, quilts, aboriginal sculptures and more!

Come and participate in the annual WINTERFEST. Activities outdoors include: horse-drawn sleigh-rides, tubing, First Responder Truck rides, sugar on snow, door prizes, kiddies corner. Indoor activities include: Bingo, face-painting.  This event is brought to you by the Youth from the Missisquoi-North Volunteer Centre and the municipality.

Festival of hearts

Shake up your winter blues and participate in the many activities taking place the entire month of February. From cooking workshops, free yoga sessions, snow activities for children, there is an activity for every age and most are provided free of charge. Please see the sample brochure provided in this kit.



Family Beach Party

A special surprise for you at the Beach Party this Saturday, Mannix and Isabelle will join us from 12:00-3:00 and play you a mix of rocks, blues and folk – Come on down and join in on the fun!

Event info: BEACH PARTY, Saturday July 7th from 12:00-4:00, Sunday in case of rain.
Animation for children, live music, and fun for the entire family.
On the menu: sausages, corn, and juice. (No containers made of glass allowed).
Bring your lawn chairs.

Parking: Please park at Owl’s Head and take the Chemin de l’érablière to access the parking lot, where a shuttle will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sundays in The Park

Every Sunday from mid-June to mid August, come and enjoy free live music performed in the heart of the village of Mansonville in Place Manson, located in front of the Town Hall (2 Vale Perkins rd.) Bring a chair, pack a picnic and enjoy jazz, folk, country, blue grass, Celtic, rhythm and blues and more… A great time for all!
