''Les résidences Potton'' for autonomous seniors

"Les residences Potton>> aim to accommodate and keep seniors as long as possible in their natural environment. The building located at 27,Neil Armstrong, Mansonville  cost over 1.8 million. Nearly half of that amount has been provided by the Quebec Housing Societey through the ''Accès Logis'' program. Nine units are eligible for the ''Supplément au loyer'' program which provides financial assistance to low income individuals. The Municipality of Potton has contributed $ 170 000 to the project, a fundraising campaign has raised the sum of $ 180 000. Finally, Hydro-Quebec has provided a grant of $ 30 000 so that the building meets the Novoclimat standards. 14 of 18 units are currently occupied.
