Town planning and inspection

Due to the diversity of regulations to be applied and the greatness of the territory, 2 inspectors are working full-time at the municipality. In order to accelerate the treatment, please make sure you know what is your kind of project to contact the right person.

Also, it is possible for citizens to meet a municipal inspector without appointment on Fridays. The "first arrived-first served" method is applied. To get an appointment on another weekday, please contact the Town Hall reception (press "0").

Here are the working domains of the 2 inspectors:

  • Subdivision projects (more than 5 lots)
  • Construction of roads
  • Nuisance / complaints about animals
  • Change of usage
  • Signs
  • Minor derogation
  • Applications for amendments of the urban bylaws
  • Files that are covered by the CPTAQ (the green zone)
  • Permits that are covered by a PIIA (village, signs in the village, Mont Owl’s Head and other mountain sectors)
