Ça roule en Estrie! : car-sharing and community bike-sharing

The MRC de Memphrémagog has lent its support to LocoMotion for funding from the Ministère des Transports et de la mobilité durable du Québec’s (MTMD) New Mobility Assistance Program (NOMO). The organization’s application was approved by MTMD.

Here are excerpts from the press release explaining the project:
LocoMotion is a Quebec network that aims to create cities and villages with fewer cars and more social ties, by facilitating the development of a local and citizen-based offer of active and shared transportation. Since 2019, 11 communities in Montreal and Sherbrooke have been sharing cars between individuals and fleets of electric bikes. In total, there have been over 15,800 shares!
