Firefighters’ training this weekend

This weekend, the Potton Fire Department will hold a fire drill at the building located at 377 Mansonville Road (former restaurant 243).

This training will allow the firefighters of the Township of Potton as well as those of the neighbouring municipalities (Eastman, Austin, North Troy and Troy), in addition to the Eastern Townships Ambulance Technical Support Team, to train in real fire conditions.

Training will take place on November 19. Then, on Sunday, November 20, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the building will be demolished by fire. This is a planned and controlled fire.
