High Speed Internet in the Township

The Municipality receives a large number of calls from citizens who are wondering when they will be able to benefit from high-speed Internet service.
The Municipality does not have a concrete answer at this time. It would like to remind citizens that, along with other municipalities, the Municipality is participating in a collective request from the provincial government to obtain Internet in places where providers do not give the service. The Municipality, not being itself an Internet service provider, has no control over the situation.
As soon as the government’s project is implemented, the work will be spread out over several months. It is estimated that the implementation of services throughout the province will not take place before 2022, unfortunately.
