Public Consultation: Renovation and use of Municipal Spaces
The Municipality of the Township of Potton would like to invite the citizens to an important public consultation to be held on April 20, 2022, at St. Cajetan church. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The public consultation will begin at 7:00 p.m. and should conclude by 9:00 p.m.
The purpose of the public consultation is to open the space for discussions and ideas with the citizens of Potton in relation to the implementation of various projects. The public consultation will take place in three stages. The broad outlines are:
– the municipal work spaces;
– the use of the St. Cajetan church;
– the use of the Round Barn.
Among the things that will be discussed: the desire to maximize workspaces while maintaining the growth of the Municipality, the acquisition and development of the St. Cajetan church to make it multi-functional, and the development of the Round Barn so that it can accommodate various activities.
First, the General Director Martin Maltais will make a presentation of approximately 30 minutes. Afterwards, citizens who wish to do so will be able to step up to the microphone to ask short questions and make comments. These speeches will be recorded and will be used for reflection on the development of projects by the Municipality.
The goal of the public consultation is to carry out these projects in a cohesive and optimal manner. We look forward to hearing your ideas.
Reservations are required before April 18 at 450-292-3313 ext. 0 or info@potton.ca.
