Recreation and culture
Activities for children
Reimbursement policy for leisure activity fees
OBJECTIVE OF THE POLICY
The Municipality of Potton wishes to promote recreational activities for young people by offering sports programs at a reasonable cost for its residents; it will therefore provide financial assistance to parents who enroll their children in higher-level programs that are offered outside of the Township of Potton. This assistance is provided by means of a reimbursement requested by the parents.
MAXIMUM ANNUAL REIMBURSEMENT PER CHILD
Parents or guardians of one or more Potton youth are entitled to a maximum annual amount of $200 per child (all activities included). This reimbursement policy does not apply to programs offered by the Municipality, as these programs are already funded at 50%.
