Day Camps

Notice on the Day Camp

(Please read below for information regarding the Municipal Art Camp.)

The Municipality of Potton would like to announce that due to an annual decrease in registrations, the Outdoor Adventures Camp has been discontinued.

Another local day camp will be in service, Jenny’s Clubhouse. Given that the Municipality is no longer providing a summer-long day camp service, members of council will be pleased to sponsor several outings and/or activities for Jenny’s Clubhouse.

In additional, to assist parents with their camp fees, the municipality has created a reimbursement policy allowing parents to apply for a camp refund of up to $300 per child. Certain conditions apply.

For more details or to request a reimbursement, please download and fill out this form by clicking HERE.

For all information including dates, program details and how to register, please call or email Jenny Royea: jroyea965@gmail.com or 450 292-0200.

Would you like to offer a new day camp service?

If you are a local resident and would like to offer a day camp service to the young people of Potton, the municipality could offer some financial assistance if you meet certain criteria. Click here to read the policy.

Please note that reimbursements can not be applied for this service as it is a municipal camp that receives 50% funding by the town.

August 5th to August 16th, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for children from 5 to 12 years old – $ 60 per week.

This summer, the Art Camp is back and eager to welcome a new group of budding artists! Your child will explore shapes, textures, and colors through several forms of visual arts using various techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture, model, collage etc.

Campers will be encouraged to observe and interpret the world around them. All activities will leave room for everyone’s expression and imagination. Friday afternoons will be closed so we can prepare to host an exhibition for parents and the community.

Of course, several periods will be devoted to sports: team games, water games, games of skill, obstacle courses, outings in nature to observe our beautiful landscapes, improvisation time and periods of free play. A stimulating program to get some fresh air, keep fit and help keep concentration during our artistic periods!
