The Legion Memorial Library
Great News! Starting June 20th, the Library will be open
Saturdays only from 9:00-4:00!
We are currently in the process of moving our collection for online reservations. Until this step has been successfully completed, we have come up with a temporary solution so you may browse the library’s inventory from home.
Here’s how it will work:
1) Please click on this link to access the PDF file to view the entire library collection. Press CTRL + F to search an item. This PDF file can also be found on the library webpage at potton.ca. Please note that this list does not reflect the availability of the books.
2) You can send us your requests by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name and the telephone number with your order. We will confirm your reservations via email Wednesdays through Fridays.
3) You can also call us, Wednesdays to Saturdays, at 450 292-3948 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to order your books.
Note: Due to high demand, we will need to limit the check-out of new releases to two (2) per patron.
Your book order can be picked up at the circulation desk on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please note that due to the traffic in the Town Hall on weekends (public washrooms) wearing a mask is strongly suggested.
To simplify your returns, the drop off box at the Town Hall is now open 7 days per week. We encourage you to return your books as soon as possible in order to get the books back in circulation.
If your friends and family do not have access to the internet, the library circulation desk will be open on Saturdays. Volunteers and staff will be happy to assist them. Please share this information with others.
PREVIOUS BOOK LOANS
All previous books loans are due on July 4th. No fines will be charged for the entire period the library was closed.
Please note that the browsing of isles and the use of the public computers will not be permitted.
We know how much you have missed your library. Staff and volunteers are excited to provide you with this service once again.
