Winter Trails
Notice: Trails closed until next winter
Since 2023, the Municipality of the Township of Potton, in collaboration with Destination Owl’s Head, has been offering citizens and visitors new trails for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, accessible from the Owl’s Head golf course. These trails are now free for all to enjoy!
The winter trails are spread over a perimeter of several kilometers. All trails are intermediate. Come and enjoy your favorite winter sports in the fresh air and magnificent mountain scenery.

Monday to Sunday
9 AM to 5 PM
*The parking lot closes at 5 p.m. daily. Please do not leave your vehicle there after opening hours.
Level of Difficulty
All trails are intermediate
Please note that there is no regular supervision, that trail maintenance is carried out from Thursday to Sunday and that the golf store is closed. There are, however, outdoor toilets available for trail users.
Rules
- Respect opening hours: no access outside opening hours;
- Stay on marked trails and respect signs;
- Keep to the right;
- Respect cross-country ski trails if you are snowshoeing;
- Don’t venture out on the trails wearing hiking boots. Snowshoes or cross-country skis only (except for trail 7);
- Dogs forbidden on all trails (except for trail 7);
- No winter biking.
