First case of raccoon rabies in Potton: how to protect yourself

The first case of raccoon rabies was discovered this month in the Potton area. Important public awareness message from the Ministry of the Environment, Climate Change, Wildlife, and Parks:

RABIES IS DEADLY: PROTECT YOURSELF!

•  Never approach a wild animal.
• If you have been bitten or scratched by a wild animal, or come into
  contact with its saliva, wash the wound with soap and water for
  10 to 15 minutes. Then contact Info-Santé 811.
• Have your pets vaccinated.
